Disclaimers, waivers and policy

The risks, and what Tunder is and is not.

Options are risky

Options can lose their whole value, and some strategies, such as selling options, can lose more than the premium you received. Prices move fast, books can be thin, and an order can fill worse than the estimate shown or only in part. Only trade what you can afford to lose.

Buying a call$0StrikeBreakevenMost you lose: the premiumProfit keeps growingPrice at expiry →
Selling a call$0StrikeBreakevenMost you make: the premiumLoss keeps growingPrice at expiry →
The same call, bought and sold. The buyer can lose at most what they paid. The seller keeps the premium at best, and their loss has no ceiling if the price keeps rising.

Not financial advice

Nothing in Tunder, including presets, recommendations, the Guide chat and the Trending tab, is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. What other traders did is not a recommendation to do the same.

No custody

Tunder never holds your funds. Deposits go from your wallet to your own Derive account, and trades settle on Derive. Your account and its funds are subject to Derive's own terms and to the risks of its smart contracts, its bridge and its network.

Your trading key

The trading key you authorise lives in the app's embedded wallet for seven days. See Onboarding for what it can sign.

Data and figures

Figures come from Derive and are shown as published. Estimates, such as the all-in cost and the chance of an RFQ fill, are the app's own arithmetic and are labelled as such. The app may be unavailable, slow or wrong at times, and is provided as is, without warranty.

Eligibility

You are responsible for making sure that trading options is lawful where you live, and for any taxes on your trades. Do not use Tunder where Derive is not available to you.

Privacy

Your trades on Derive are public on its tape, with your account on them, and Tunder shows them on your profile like anyone else's.
